4. How old do you have to be to participate in adult open hockey? What ability level is expected to participate?

You must be 18 years of age. Beginners to advanced skaters are welcome. Helmets and gloves are required to play. All other equipment is recommended.

5. Is equipment required for open hockey?

For adult open hockey, a helmet and gloves are required. All other gear is recommended. For youth open hockey all equipment is required.

6. Do you have ice year around?

The regular ice season is from September to March. Look for summer ice during July.

7. Can the dry-land floor be used for trade shows or other sporting events?

Yes - almost any event can be held on the dry-land floor. The Arena has hosted the Hospital Book Fair, the Jesse James Craft Show, the Home and Garden Show and Piccadilly Circus as well as lacrosse and soccer practices, roller hockey and dry-land training for hockey players.
